The Sacramento Police Department responded to a shooting at the University and 65th Street light rail station around 3 p.m. Thursday, March 21, 2024. The suspects in the shooting allegedly carjacked someone at gunpoint nearby on Folsom Blvd, the car was found abandoned on campus in parking lot 2.

Sac State soccer traveled to Davis looking to clinch their ticket to the Big West playoffs. The Aggies sent the Hornets home with a 2-1 loss to end their season.

Sac State men’s soccer fell to UC Santa Barbara 3-0 Wednesday night in a quiet loss for the Hornets. The Hornets were shut out for the sixth time on the season as they moved to 2-3-2 in Big West play.

It was another quiet night for Sac State men’s soccer as they went scoreless in a 2-0 defeat at the hands of CSU Bakersfield on Wednesday. The Hornets now move to 3-8-3 on the season.
Hornet junior midfielder Oscar Govea is tripped up as the ball goes out of play on Sunday, Sept. 19, 2021, against Saint Marys in a 1-0 loss for the Hornets. The Hornets have averaged just 1.25 goals on the year.
