Sacramento State men’s soccer finished the season with one final loss to UC Davis. The Hornets battled back to tie the match, only to give up a game-winning goal with two minutes left in the match.

Sitting outside the top six in the Big Sky Conference standings, Sacramento State needed all three points against Portland State and help from elsewhere to qualify for the Big Sky tournament. Conceding two goals in the first 25 minutes, the Hornets attempted to prevail from the deficit but ultimately ran out of time at the end.
