Kai Arellano is a senior journalism major in his third semester at The State Hornet and is an award winning journalist. He’s been a part of sports, visuals and has worked with multiple other sections, finally becoming the visuals editor in the spring of 2025. He’s in his final semester at Sacramento State and is a boxer for Combat U. He wants to work his way into becoming a broadcast journalist or sports journalist.
