The Sacramento State Police Department issued a timely warning notice regarding a sexual battery case that occurred in Hornet Tunnel Tuesday, May 14. The investigation is ongoing and it is unknown if either party involved attends Sac State.

A sexual battery incident occurred last week in the Hornet Tunnel between College Town Drive and Elvas Avenue. Sac State Police are still investigating the incident.
The grand opening of the Jewish Life and Resource Center was attended by students, faculty, representatives of area Jewish organizations and community leaders Wednesday, May 8, 2024. Mayor Darrell Steinberg and City Councilmember Lisa Kaplan represented local Jewish political leadership.

The ‘BECOMING’ mural is a central focal point of the murals revealed near the University Union and was created by Heather Hogan, a professor at Sacramento City College Wednesday, April 10, 2024. A carjacking occurred at the University/65th Street light rail station near Sacramento State’s campus in the same place as a shooting that left one dead and two injured.
 Signage notating the entrance, language assistance and hours of the vote center located in the Willow Suite, Room 1 in Modoc Hall Monday, March 4, 2024. The Vote Center is open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. to assist students with all their voting needs during Super Tuesday.

California Faculty Association announced the results of their vote for the tentative agreement proposed by California State University’s management, with 76% of the membership voting to approve.
The Teamsters Local 10 union participated in the wage strike alongside the California Faculty Association on Dec. 7, 2023. Notable members of the union were spotted protesting and giving speeches in support of better pay and working conditions.

Sacramento State confirmed four more members of the CapRadio Board of Directors have resigned from their positions in a press release Wednesday evening.
