What are your plans for Halloween?

Leticia Lopez

Tony Nguyen

Freshman, undeclared

“I don’t really do any partying whatsoever, because Halloween is pretty much like any other day except for the kids that walk up to my house. If you still like candy, you’re never too old for Halloween. If you dress up, they can’t tell your age.”

Erika Lewis

Sophomore, social work

“Maybe scaring some friends (and) see if they’ll get scared. Watch movies, hopefully dress up (because) I miss dressing up. I really hate bees but I want to be a bumblebee. I saw this really cute one at downtown Sac.”

Alisha Garcia

Freshman, communications studies

“(I plan) a lot of scary movie nights and take cousins out to trick-or-treat. Where I come from it’s a city law that after you turn 16 you can’t go trick- or-treating. Probably next weekend (I will) decorate pumpkins or decorate (the) house with my cousins.”

Oscar Medina

Senior, journalism

“(I plan on) working on classwork, (watching) some scary movies and (going) to the theatre. I don’t remember the name of the movie (but it is about) a little girl (and) something scary happening in her house. I guess it’s never too old (to trick-or-treat) as long as you bring someone under 10.”

Tuan Le

Senior, criminal justice

“If I’m not partying then I’m probably just going out with my nephews. I don’t watch scary movies anymore. I get scared easily and I still sleep with a night light. My nephews still trick-or-treat, so that’s O.K. if I go. They still think I’m probably like 16 so it’s all good.”
