Men’s golf tied in last place in final meet

The Sacramento State men’s golf team is tied for 13th place after the first round of the PING Cougar Classic at the Riverside Golf Club on Friday. The Hornets are tied with Utah Valley with a score of 591.

New Mexico State, New Mexico and Saint Mary’s round out the top three with scores of 559, 561 and 563, respectively.

Sophomore Grant Nortan and junior Scott DeBorba tied for 49th place with a score of 147. Junior Jeremy Harris (149) is tied for 60th place, sophomore Kyle Candlish (151) is tied for 67th place, and junior Cody Miller (152) is tied for 70th place.
