As the spring semester at Sacramento State nears, Associated Students Inc. is not halfway complete in fulfilling its 2007-08 Strategic Plan. Board members said this semester was dedicated to extensive planning and brainstorming, while next semester will yield more visual results.

“I believe the footwork will be there and we’ll be able to have a legacy with what we started,” said ASI President Christina Romero.

The plan promotes five main points: visibility of ASI’s public image, an environment-friendly campus, a welcoming campus for community, a safer campus and ASI advancement.

Graduate Director Jensen Kile said, “I think we’ve laid the groundwork for (the plan). So now it’s a matter of moving forward.”

Romero said she expects all of ASI’s goals to be completed or started by the end of the spring semester.

The entire Strategic Plan can be found at ASI’s website at http://www.asi.csus.edu/government.
