SEEN: ‘Greek’ season 3 episode 3

Credit has to be given to the “Greek” scriptwriters for another episode of well-done sexual puns.

In the opening scene of “Greek” when Jordan, Zeta Beta Zeta sister, and Rusty, Kappa Tau brother, were making out, I immediately laughed.

During their kiss, Jordan asked Rusty to wait a second and Rusty assumed she was going to ask if he had been tested for HIV. Rusty awkwardly responded with a “yes, I’m positive, I mean no, I’m negative.”

Sexual tension, awkwardness and anticipation have been brewing between Jordan and Rusty for too long.

In previous episodes of “Greek,” I waited for Jordan and Rusty to finally be officially labeled as a couple. Now that the third season is here, I find myself waiting episode after episode for Jordan and Rusty to seal the deal sexually.

The interruptions between each “about to do it” moment with Jordan and Rusty are funny, but have gotten irritating. “Greek” writers have finally satisfied my need for Jordan and Rusty to just “do it” in episode 3.

Speaking of tension, Ashley, the ZBZ president, still has an immense amount of tension toward Fisher, the ZBZ hasher, and Rebecca, another ZBZ sister.

Ashley has the right to lash out at the two of them after kissing behind her back. Drunk or not, there is no excuse to do your sorority sister or girlfriend wrong.

I applauded Ashley’s newfound confidence during the ZBZ meeting when Ashley put Fisher and Rebecca on the spot by telling the girls what they did. Bravo.

Casey, ZBZ sister, also deserves recognition in this episode when she decided to be on Pan-Hellenic board. She finally took her father’s advice to be big in the world and went against the motion to ban “The Undie run.”

“The Undie run” is a streaking tradition and it was brilliant for Casey to take something like that and turn it into something meaningful. Casey saved “The Undie Run” by suggesting the disrobed clothes be used as donations.

Episode 3 has been full of the usual witty lines and funny moments, but I think the “Greek” writers can dazzle up the next episode’s storyline a bit more.

I still want to know what is going to happen between Casey and Cappy. Once again I’m left off with unanswered question.
