The classic T.V. show “The Dating Game” is back. Sponsored by UNIQUE, Wednesday’s Nooner at the University Union Redwood Room will feature Sacramento State’s version of “The Dating Game.”

“The Dating Game” will consist of two rounds. In the first round, a bachelor will ask questions to three single bachelorettes and choose one based on her answers. In the next round, a bachelorette will do the same and choose between three single bachelors.

The event will be hosted by Mikhail Chernyavsky, senior journalism major. Chernyavsky is a comedian who has performed at venues such as Punch Line Comedy Club and Laughs Unlimited. (He is also the State Hornet’s online managing editor.)

Chernyavsky said he was excited to be hosting “The Dating Game”.

“I love watching the old reruns of ‘The Dating Game,'” Chernyavsky said. “It’s kind of cool to be able to host it. I love performing live and I think this is just another great fun way to do something fun and interact with students on campus.”

UNIQUE chose participating contestants through an application process.

“By the sounds of it, they’ve got a lot of people,” Chernyavsky said. “It’s good to see that students are interested in doing something fun like this.”
