Brown returns for senior season

If you are a Hornet, last season really stung.

“It’s still with me,” Tyeisha Brown said. “I don’t want to repeat last year. Last year drives me to be better.”

As arguably the Hornet’s best player from a year ago, Brown looks to help a slew of new players adjust to a system that head coach Dan Muscatell put in a year ago.

Muscatell said that Brown will see significant time on the court this season.Last season, Brown scored 9.4 point per game and 4.8 rebounds in Big Sky conference play to lead the team.

“(Last year) was a step in the right direction,” Brown said. “We were competitive, but we couldn’t get wins.”

This year she has hopes of turning the program around and winning the Big Sky conference and hopefully getting a NCAA bid.

Her hopes seem far-fetched for a team that won just one game last year.Brown said, “I dream big, I want to achieve big.”
