Men’s hockey loses season finale against Davis, 9-2

The Sacramento State men’s hockey team lost to UC Davis on Saturday night, 9-2, at Skatetown in Roseville.

The Hornets scored the first goal of the game at the 17:27, when center Justin Ellison found the back of the net.

The Aggies proceeded to score seven unanswered goals, including a hat trick by left wing Joey Koressel.

The Hornets finish the season at 7-11-1.

They travel to South Lake Tahoe on Friday and Saturday for the Pacific Coast Hockey Association playoffs.
