So there’s’ a new bar in town; in fact it’s only been in existence for two months. A spot on Lavender Hill, the all new, very sexy and not to mention upscale, video lounge bar and grille, Head Hunters.

Located on the corner of 20th and K, midtown, right next to Faces and across from the Depot is the hottest spot, during happy hour that is.

Head Hunters offers drinks at an awesome cost, $5 for a pretty heavy pour. There’s never a cover charge and it’s something different than your usual bar, the whole new video lounge concept.

Picture this: you go to the bar and you happen to notice the very nice set up, the bamboo furniture, the candle lit lighting, the patio with the oh-so-resistible lounge chairs, the neutral colors, the very Ikea looking set up, and not to mention the very friendly and welcoming atmosphere.

The bartender is at your disposal for food and drinks- whatever you prefer, and after taking your order you are usually patiently waiting for your items to arrive. However, now a new twist in wining and dining, is the music and the videos playing on the screen.

Usually there would be a sports game on the screen or perhaps a talk show or two, but not at Head Hunters. Although a very calm and plain setting, the bar is blaring with music of all kinds that can pretty much attract any kind of listener.

Attracting all audiences, different genres, different taste and whatever you sexual preference may be, Head Hunters offers great menu options from American cuisine to a bit of Chinese and all at reasonable prices. The entrees are $7 to $11 a piece.

It’s always a fun and entertaining atmosphere. After all, how could you go wrong with the hottest artists from decades ago to the present date, matching their voices to what you see on the screen? Plus visuals are always a bonus.

The best time to go to Head Hunters would be a Tuesday through Friday to catch their Happy Hour specials from 4 to 7, other then that, a late Friday or Saturday night is always hopping. Overall I give the Head Hunters Video Lounge and Grille 4 stars out of five. Head Hunters is a very sexy atmosphere, clean and upscale, not too crowded but always a good time.
