Sac State students celebrate spring break in style

A chance to recoup and rejuvenate for the week

With spring break in full swing, The State Hornet asked students about spring break this year and ones in the past. Many were excited to travel or catch up on some sleep during break, while others spoke about the places they would love to visit in the future.

(she/her) Mahrukh Siddiqui is a graduating senior from the Bay Area. This is her first semester at The State Hornet. As a first generation Pakistani-American, she is excited to work in DEI after covering politics and First Amendment Rights. She hopes to pursue stories of diasporas after graduating.

(he/him) Jonathan Santiago is in his second semester at The State Hornet. He is very excited to work for The State Hornet again. He is an Economics major and hopes to work as a financial analyst.
