Jade Brown grew up in the cowboy capital, Oakdale, and now goes to school in the state capital. This is her first year on The State Hornet and first year in pursuit of a bachelor’s degree in journalism. Jade spends her free time baking gourmet cookies and making soup in her dutch oven.
