Reports of an individual being seen with a rifle on campus were unfounded, according to a community alert email from the Sacramento State Police Department.
The Assembly Select Committee on Native American Affairs held a hearing in the State Capitol building regarding the repatriation of indigenous remains cited in the state audit Tuesday, Aug. 29, 2023. The hearing included a statement from Sacramento State President Luke Wood. Wood was appointed president of Sac State this summer.
