When someone dies it is always tragic. However, this is a matter of the law and a case taking form. The DA is simply saying there is not enough to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that there is legal action that can be taken. The DA is making decisions based on the law, that doesn’t make people right or wrong. That doesnt make this incident less tragic. There are already actions being taken to improve training and procedures to prevent situations just like this. The officers that were involved with this incident have to live with the fact that they killed someone for the rest of their lives. I can’t imagine what that feels like. I especially cant imagine going through all that with the ammount of hate being sent their way. And it is just unfathomable to understand how awful it would be to be treated like a criminal for trying to protect your community and your life. Maybe we need to look at this with hope for a better future, and understanding for another human’s situation.
