Lou Baudouin is a senior political science and journalism major and philosophy minor. She currently covers the news in her first semester at The State Hornet. She came from France, as she committed for the Sacramento State women’s tennis team and wants to become an international reporter in the future. She is also passionate about photography, reading philosophical novels, poetry and traveling or discovering new places.

The university’s only housing-based mental health counselor recently departed, leaving students and resident advisors concerned about mental health support, while interim resources and programs attempt to fill the gap.
