Phi Beta Delta held a luncheon Friday to give their members a chance to get together and share their experiences.

Janis Silvers, the study abroad advisor, said the gathering was to give people an opportunity to honor research scholars.

Silvers added Phi Beta Delta, which is celebrating their 20th anniversary this year, is very proud of their history.

“I wish we could have these events more often especially since there are so many amazing people from many different countries here,” Japanese professor Kazue Masuyama said.

Communications Professor Tom Knutson said that the different scholars bring a breath of fresh air and a different perspective to Sacramento State.

Krissy Fox just received her master’s degree in Spanish and spent two years in Spain teaching English.

“This event is all about different people from different parts of the world getting together, and sharing their different experiences with each other,” she said.
