Lizeth Tello is transfer student from Saddleback College in Orange County majoring in journalism. This is her first semester with The State Hornet and is joining as a news staffer. She is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in journalism and aspires to get into a career in editing. In her free time she enjoys reading, writing, baking and spending time with loved ones.

Campus workers have begun forming a union after allegations of discrimination and union busting were raised against ASI.
The California State University Employee Union was joined by other unions and activist groups for a rally in the library quad Tuesday, March 4, 2025.
