AJ Tinkess is a transfer student in her fourth semester at Sacramento State, studying both photography and journalism. This is their first semester working at The State Hornet, where they are hoping to capture and share all of Sac State’s most important moments. She graduated from Grossmont College in San Diego with an associate’s with honors in photography, and she has dedicated countless hours taking photos for community and personal events, sports teams and school functions. She aspires to be a professional photojournalist for whomever needs her to tell their stories through her lens.
