With the end of the semester approaching, the time has come to return textbooks to the Hornet Bookstore. Students can return books in a variety of ways other than by mail during finals week,  according to an email sent by Jaime Scobel, manager of the Hornet Bookstore.

The Hornet Bookstore will accept returns through a drive-thru option taking place in Parking Structure III during finals week. The drive-thru will be open Wednesday and Thursday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and on Friday from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

A rental check-in form sent via email is to be printed and filled out before the drop off. If a student does not have the form, one will be provided to them, according to an email from University Transportation and Parking Services.

Individuals are required to not step out of their vehicles due to COVID-19 social distancing restrictions.

Students returning books via the drive-thru should follow the route below:

In-person check-in

In-person check-ins are also available Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. with restrictions in place. The bookstore will have a limited capacity and limited staff as well. Everyone entering the bookstore building is required to wear a mask.

Students who still wish to return their rentals via mail but do not have any boxes can get free FedEx packaging in different sizes according to their website
