Loud music could be heard from outside and college students could be seen hanging about, but this was not your typical college party.
To commemorate its newfound success in the fashion industry, Ange Gardien celebrated in style.
It was a night filled with music, special guests, and most of all, its supporters.
The release event took place March 11 at Sacramento’s Country Club Lanes, a venue that acts both as a bowling alley to the general public and private rooms for organized events.
For some attendees it was their first time going to an event of this kind.
“It was a big deal, because nothing that big or exciting happens in Sacramento really”, said Sacramento State senior Taylor Toland.
As for the founder of Ange Gardien, LaSal Garcia, he said that the event was a bold move, but very successful.
“It’s like album sound parties where people get the first glimpse of it before the rest,” Garcia said.
Partial proceeds from the event will benefit at-risk youth in Garcia’s hometown of Richmond, California.
