There is power in positivity

It would be an understatement to say that life is stressful. Although they may be hectic, our lives also have a fair share of goodness. The good may, many times, be hindered because we let the negative thoughts and emotions take over our minds.
When the negativity begins to slowly take over our thoughts, we begin to shut down.
The moment we feel ourselves shutting down is the moment we must find the strength to bring about the bit of hope we have left and remember that no matter how hard the struggle seems, it will eventually pass; it always does.
It all begins in your mind. Your every thought affects how you perceive and take on every moment, every hour, every day. There is no such thing as “waking up on the wrong side of the bed.” Whether you wake up on the left or right side or in the middle, you control your attitude as your day commences.
Sure, there are unnecessary stressors that might cause your attitude to change for the worst. For example, traffic on the way to school, people who can’t drive properly, not being able to find parking at one of the six parking lots your school has to offer or maybe not being able to grab that cup of coffee you have every morning before class. These stressors are called stressors for a reason. They are not meant to make you happy. In fact, they make life miserable some days, but that’s when you remember who is in control.
Work and school may be beating you down, but remember that you work to pay for school and you go to school to achieve the better life you’ve always dreamed of living. If it helps, try not to commit to more than you can handle. Your emotional and physical health should both be your main concerns.
If other people are the reason why it is difficult for you to maintain your smile, then it would be smart to change your surroundings. Negative people attract negativity while positive people attract positivity. Leave people and their ungrateful selves where they are. Ignorance is bliss. Positive vibes only.
Wake up each morning and appreciate your new day and healthy life because there are many who aren’t as blessed as the person in the mirror.
