Esmeralda Navarro, a Bay Area native, is a fourth-year public relations and business student. She enjoys topics such as music, art, fashion and beauty. She is passionate about journalism’s ability to bring light to the world’s most fascinating stories that are often overlooked. She has contributed to her high school’s publication Off the Leash in the past and is eager to begin her first semester at the State Hornet. She hopes to work in PR and marketing within the fashion industry while freelancing in journalism for leisure.
