She previously wrote and edited for the American River Current and enjoys tackling complex, taboo subjects to shift narratives and spark conversations that drive social and cultural change. In her free time Annie enjoys spending time with her partner and their three dogs.

At the March 4 President’s Forum, Sac State President Luke Wood responded to students’ concerns about the administration’s approach to recent attacks on trans and immigrant communities, inclusivity efforts, AI usage, accessibility challenges and budget issues.
