Farmworkers throughout California marched from Delano, CA to Sacramento, CA to convince Gov. Gavin Newsom to sign Assembly Bill 2183 which would guarantee safer unionization efforts.

The State Hornet spoke with Lambda Sigma Gamma Sorority Inc. and the Sacramento State Democrats for input on the event. Andres Chavez, grandson of Cesar Chavez, helped organize the march and bring activists to the Capitol steps.
