Head coach Troy Taylor said the team has worked really hard during the off season.

“Phenomenal preparation offseason,” Taylor said. “Coach Ryan Deatrick, our strength and conditioning coach, worked with them really hard since January, as the spring semester ended all the way through the summer.”

Senior defensive lineman and junior Dariyn Choates said that the team practiced at a high level.

“I feel like we’re overly prepared this year,” Choates said.
