Student Organizations and Leadership constructed a multi-colored roller skating rink for students and the community to partake in the activity and show their Sacramento State pride for Spirit Week.

The roller rink will be open today between 2-7 p.m. for the community to come and enjoy, said Macie Ly, lead student assistant for SO&L.

“It’s a way for students and the community to just kind of show off their pride for Sac State,” Ly said.

Ly also said there will be other events this week revolved around Spirit Week for students to show their Hornet pride.

Other events this week include “An Evening of Spoken Word” in the Union Ballroom starting at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, and a film screening of “American Revolution: The Evolution of Grace Lee Boggs” in the Union Redwood Room from 12-2 p.m. on Friday.
