The department explained through a Facebook post that it is not policy to be able to disenroll a student from a class, meaning professor Maury Wiseman could not have disenrolled Chiitaanibah Johnson, according to the statement.
“I take this matter very seriously,” said Sac State President Robert Nelsen in the statement. “I intend to talk to Chiitaanibah Johnson as we work to gather all the information necessary to resolve this situation positively.”
