Today is the last day to register to vote for the Nov. 6 election. If you have not yet registered, today is the last day to do so before midnight.

To apply to register to vote, you can fill the online application or pick up a paper voter registration application at a county elections office, library, Department of Motor Vehicles offices or U.S. post office. The voter registration application must be filled out completely and it must be postmarked or hand-delivered to your nearest county elections office by midnight.

You must be a United States citizen, a resident of California and be 18 years of age or older on Election Day.
