A resume is a daunting task for some students. Today the Sacramento State Career Center presented a training video on using Optimal Resume, an online site to simplify the process.

“It’s an online resume program that is offered free to all current students,” said Jessica Wilbur of the Career Center.

Once you create the resume you can put it on an interactive website for employers to view. The site also provides hints on good resume writing and many style options.

“If you’ve never done a resume, this makes it really easy,” said Lauren Hadley, senior in finance and risk management.

Navigation of the site is easy. To start your resume and open an account, visit https://csus.optimalresume.com.

The Career Center will host another event on building resumes from 12 to 3 p.m. on Sept. 24, in the University Union Ballroom.
