On Sunday the California International Marathon (CIM) passed by Sacramento State on its 26-mile journey. The race began at the Folsom Dam, passed through semi-rural Sacramento suburbs into midtown Sacramento, then finished up at the State Capitol.
Laban Moiban of Kenya, No. 11, received first place in men’s finishing in 2 hours, 14 minutes and 31 seconds. No. 4 Wioletta Kryza, from Poland finished first in the women’s category with a time of two hours, 39 minutes and 25 seconds.
