Parking legislation approved

Sacramento State Associated Students Inc. approved the previously delayed student-only parking legislation at is board meeting today.

“This (legislation) has a lot of information in it,” said ASI President Christina Romero, who wrote the legislation. “Even today, I was still meeting with administration (to gather information).”

Romero said the legislation verified the prices of parking permits, as well as included background information about the student-only parking issue.

Election task force appointment delayed again

Secretary of State Affairs Walter Wallace proposed that the appointment of students to the Election Task Force be postponed until the third consecutive board meeting.

Wallace said he needs to develop more “creative ways” of finding students who are available during Thursday meeting times.

He said he is not worried about finding the last student before his December deadline.
