Gentlemen, this is definitely the place to make reservations if you are planning something special for your Valentine.

In following with their three-year tradition, Cafe Milazzo is hosting a romantic Valentine?s Day evening. They provide complimentary chocolates and flowers for the ladies, just in case you guys forget.Chef Jaime Cardenas will prepare a wide variety of deliciously romantic meals, from filet mignon with Alaskan king crab to vegetarian lasagna baked in a cream sauce. The highlight of the menu, however, will be Cafe Milazzo?s homemade Timpano: a dish of penne pasta, sausages and meatballs, Italian cheeses, assorted veggies and marinara sauce baked in savory crust.A romantic evening would not be complete without great music, so local musicians Steve Krohn and Jimmy Malone will perform to help set the mood.

New to the neighborhood is the East End Bar and Grill. You may have already noticed the new look given to the old, run-down Shakey?s building on J St. The sleek and classy vibe the East End building radiates is multiplied when you set foot in the door.

The chefs at East End are offering a four-course dinner complete with appetizers and dessert.

East End has designated three seating times for the evening at 5:30 p.m., 7:30 p.m. and 9 p.m.

The menu for the evening includes grilled lobster for $45 per person and filet mignon, procuitto wrapped seabass, Sonoma smoked duck, each for $35 per person. For desert choose from chocolate dipped strawberries or chocolate mousse.
