The Sacramento State Dance Team, formerly known as the Stinger Girls, will hold auditions later this month.

There will be a mandatory clinic at 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. on April 20. Then the preliminary auditions will be at 10 a.m. on April 28 and the finals will be at 10 a.m. on April 29. These meetings will all be held in Yosemite Hall, Room 183.

The Sacramento State Dance Team is now under the new direction of Monique Chilcutt. Chilcutt has more than 13 years of experience and she was an instructor for United Spirit Association where she choreographed and taught dance rountines of all styles.Chilcutt is looking for the best, gifted dancers Sac State has to offer.”I encourage all dancers to audition,” she said in a telephone interview with The State Hornet.
