“Heartbreakers” mix beauty and money

If you want to see a comedy about a mother and daughter con-artist team,the film “Heartbreakers” is the one to see.
Jennifer Love Hewitt, Sigourney Weaver and Gene Hackman star in themovie that opens today.
Is story line is an incredibly work of genius? No, but it is originaland appealing to popular culture thanks different acting styles Love andWeaver posses.
Gene Hackman plays a chain smoking, red nosed dilettante and the targetof a get-rich-quick scam involving Paige (Hewitt), and Olga (Weaver).
The pair has an ongoing race to see who can get the most men to marrythem. Eventually, they will divorce the men and reap a substantialamount income through settlements.
The movie is also about Love finding and changing the most self centeredpeople.
Is it worth seeing? Yes, Love and Weaver are very attractive ladies andthat alone will pull in a lot of viewers.
In addition, you have academy award winner, Hackman (“Superman,” TheFirm” and “Mississippi Burning”) who easily playing evil with a grin.Hackman does a great job at playing a rich old bird about ready to die.
The twist of the film finds Paige and Olga both learning lessons inlove.
The movie was hilarious and somehow predictable. Judging by thepersonality traits of the main characters, it was easy to tell that theywould both fall in love by the end of the movie.
If you find yourself to be perpetually single and need some hope,you probably would enjoy this kind of movie. If you just like greatlegs, you would really enjoy the film. And if you’ve got a thing forWeaver’s singing?it’s definitely worth it.
Ray Liotta (“Good Guys,” Rat Pack”) also stars in this film.
