Associated Students, Inc., will discuss the appointment of Allison Carrao as director of Arts and Letters, DOC/SEL committee appointments of Veronica Lerma, Hur-Khan Allen and Angela Gomez at the board meeting this afternoon.

ASI will also discuss the contract between Sequoia Pacific Systems and ASI for the upcoming election process. Sequoia Pacific Systems is an election firm that ASI contracts out to handle the annual elections.

“They are an election firm that conducts our elections,” said Rita Tyke, ASI board associate. “They do this around the world, it is their area of expertise.”

The board will also discuss the Championship Fund guidelines pertaining to funding club organizations on campus that qualify for national events.

“Most of the clubs that apply are sports clubs, but these funds are not limited to sports clubs only,” Tyke said. The ASI Board meeting will be held in the Foothill Suite of the University Union today at 3 p.m.
