The Ron Howard and Jim Carrey director and actor duo took first place at the box office for the third week in a row with “Dr. Seuss’ How The Grinch Stole Christmas.”

The movie made $27.1 million last week, for a total of $172 million over three weeks.

The PG-rated film features Jim Carrey as the green-clad Grinch, Taylor Momsen as Little Cindy Lou Hou and is narrated by Anthony Hopkins.
