Students to speak about travel to Ghana

Antonio R. Harvey

Students from Sacramento State and area high schools will describe their summer trip to Ghana, West Africa, Wednesday, Oct. 25.

The event will begin at noon in the University Redwood Room.

The Trip was part of the Ghana Youth Peace Program that sent five Sac State students and five high school students on a cross-cultural trip to Ghana.

The students also learned about conflict resolution skills.

The students will talk about their experiences in Ghana and show slides and video from the trip.

The Ghana Youth Peace Program was developed by the CSUS Center for African Peace and Conflict resolution to offer life changing personal, cultural and peace building experience for participants.
