Alumni honored at Friday’s luncheon.

A total of 29 Sacramento State Alumni will be recognized at the university’s annual Alumni Honors Luncheon.
Honorees were chosen by the different academic departments on campus for their achievements and outreach efforts in their fields. The luncheon is a chance for the Sacramento State community to thank alumni for their contributions.
The honors luncheon will be held at noon, Friday, Oct. 13 in the new Steven Lee Yamshon Alumni Center. Tickets are $20 and must be reserved in advance by calling alumni affairs at 278-6295, or by visiting the Alumni Center.
“Students are fully welcome to the luncheon,” said senior Lauren Palmer, alumni relations student assistant. “It is a chance to see what life is like after graduation.”
The luncheon is held every year during the homecoming festivities. Nominees are as follows:
