Many woke up to the news of Donald Trump’s victory after the Associated Press called the presidential race around 2:30 a.m. on Wednesday. In this “Sac State Says” episode, we captured student reactions to the election results.

For many students, this election was their first time voting and they shared how the results have impacted their perspective on the nation’s future.

(he/him) Jonathan Santiago is in his third semester at The State Hornet, returning as the multimedia editor. He is an economics major and hopes to work as a financial analyst. During his free time, he spends time with his friends and loved ones.
