Welcome back Hornets. The State Hornet staff is ready to bring you event coverage from the 2016 spring semester.

While our print edition will be released each Thursday, you can follow our daily coverage at StateHornet.com. You can also follow us through our social media platforms including Facebook, Snapchat, Twitter, Instagram and Periscope. Our goal this semester is to utilize these different mediums to help tell the story.

We strive to bring you the most comprehensive coverage possible while accurately documenting what is happening on our campus. As a student-run organization, we are focused on informing the Sacramento State community. If there is something happening on campus you think we should cover, let us know.

To the new students arriving for the first time at Sac State: We encourage you to get involved in at least one of the many organizations and programs the university offers. Our campus benefits when students participate outside of the classroom.
