Sacramento State Police find another suspicious bundle on campus
The Sacramento State Police Department taped off the area surrounding the greenhouses south of Mendocino Hall Thursday around 5 p.m. Another tape bundle was found in the isolated area.

Sacramento State Police officers taped off an area around the greenhouses next to Mendocino Hall after another tape bundle was found at 5 p.m. Thursday.
Sac State Police Chief Mark Iwasa said the bundle is similar to the more than 40 others found throughout the school year and is not perceived as a threat.
According to Iwasa, the department’s protocol calls for it to isolate the area.
“We did not evacuate because the size of the bundle does not present a threat inside the building,” Iwasa said.
