Fitness tip for the abdomen

One of the things most people can agree on is that they want better abs. Luckily there’s a way to get a good abdominal workout without spending all of your time on the floor. All you need is an exercise ball, and a weight if you feel like challenging yourself.

1. Sit on the ball and lower yourself down on it so your lower back is centered on the ball and your feet are stable on the floor.

2. From there you can do an elevated sit-up.

3. By twisting to the right or the left side when you come up, you can work out your obliques as well as your core abdominal muscles. Use a weight while you do the sit-up for a more difficult, core-strengthening work out. This exercise takes the strain off your back, works out more of your core muscles and can be done in just a few minutes.
