Crunk Rock
March 18, 2009
If you are looking for new sounds for the summer, Trouble Andrew should be the band you turn to. This band is the creator of what they call “Crunk Rock.” This sound combines attention-grabbing lyrics and out of the ordinary beats that are not entirely rock or hip hop music but indeed a creative brand of music all their own.
As I was listening to the CD Remixed +Remastered, I was searching for a category to classify this music in and in my opinion crunk rock is a perfect fit. If you are a fan of hip hop, rap, rock or even pop, check this album out, because with such a variety of different sounds on the album there will surely be a song that you like.
This album is a fresh take on music. I was captivated by the music and each sound was innovative and exciting. I enjoyed this fresh breadth of music, which brought me to picture summer time at the lake and bonfires on the beach. It was relaxed and fun.
I love when music can take me to another place and this band did just that. I would highly recommend Trouble Andrew to any music lover.
So many artists never change their sound which is why most artist remain popular, however it was nice to see a band like Trouble Andrew take a risk by making their CD so diverse. Taking this risk really worked for them because they can give their listeners a great variety of music with just a single CD.
My favorite songs on the album were Chase Money and Pimpmillennium. They were fun and innovative songs that really made me interested in the band. Both had upbeat tempos and creative lyrics.
