The second week of the 2008 5-on-5 Intramural Basketball Tournament drew to a close with the Lady Ballers beating the Tan & Whites for the championship victory of the women’s bracket, while the Hoop Stallions beat out the Dynasty Ridaz in the Tuesday/Thursday men’s bracket semi-finals to earn a spot in the championship game on Tuesday at the Hornet’s Nest.

On Monday, the two top-seeded teams for the Monday/Wednesday bracket will compete for the other spot. The Entity triumphed over TKE and Chocolate while Practice? blew past the Untouchables and the Rebels during Monday and Wednesday’s games.

If the Entity defeats Practice? on Monday, then the championship match will be a repeat of last year’s game. Both the Entity and the Hoop Stallions have largely kept the same roster and line-up as last year.

Both the last semi-final game and the championship match will begin at 9 p.m. on their respective days.
