A 15-year-old male was arrested Friday by Seattle Police after he was accused of leading a 19-year-old Sacramento State female student to a Davis motel where she was allegedly shot multiple times by her ex-boyfriend, according to the Davis Police Department.

The teenager is facing charges of conspiracy, attempted murder, assault with a deadly weapon and torture, said Lt. Darren Pytel of Davis Police.

The Sac State student met an acquaintance at Motel 6 in South Davis on Nov. 10 when she surprisingly came face-to-face with Julio Cesar Guevara Mejia, 35, according to police reports.

She was in critical condition following the incident and has yet to be released from the hospital, Pytel said.

Mejia – a Hispanic male with short brown hair, a mustache and goatee, standing 5 feet 8 inches and weighing 200 pounds – remains at large, Pytel said.
