A man calling himself “Doug the wandering evangelist” visited Sacramento State on Thursday morning. He positioned himself between the University Union and the Library Quad and talked to students as they passed by.

Doug said that he has been visiting college campuses from Seattle to San Francisco spreading the Word since 1971.

“Beware of humans, trust God,” Doug said. “Capitalism is the biggest religion in the world.”
