Upon arrival in New York, the two go their separate ways but keep running into each other.

When Oliver propositions Emily on the subway, she turns him down, stating that they couldn&t be more wrong for one another.

Three years later, Emily, on the rebound from her estranged ex, runs into Oliver, once again in Los Angeles.

The two share a wild and memorable New Year&s celebration, but 8211; to Emily&s dismay 8211; the two quickly lose touch yet again when Oliver makes his big move to San Francisco to pursue big business in diaper sales.

Fate brings Oliver and Emily together again two years later. Both of them have evolved in their careers.
