Retired professional wrestler Mick Foley of the World Wrestling Federation visits Sacramento State Thursday to speak about his life and career and to sign autographs at the University Union Ballroom, 7:30 p.m.
Foley, known as “Mankind,” “Cactus Jack” and “Dude Love” in the ring, was one of the most popular pro wrestlers in the WWF circuit and has written two best-selling memoirs, “Have a Nice Day! A Tale of Blood and Sweatsocks,” and “Foley is Good and the Real World is Faker Than Wrestling.”
Tickets to the event are $15, $10 for students, and are available at the Central Ticket Office or Tickets.com.
Also on campus Thursday is former WWF wrestler and actor Sam Fatu, or “Tama the Islander,” who will speak, sign autographs and take photos with fans. This event is free and held from 11:45 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the ballroom.
